Welcome to the Engineer's home ALTEN!The engineer must be able to carry out the following activities:Authors electrical schematics and reports for C&I and data center jobsProvide power supply calculatorsConducts in-house design reviews and technical meetingsSupports the interfaces with customers and contractorsPrepares design specifications, analyses and recommendationsInterface with other departments to complete design and drawingsModify existing engineering designsProvide job pricing for custom designsUnderstands and implements project management principlesDesign new electrical schematic macros and templatesElaborate reports for control panel manufacturingPrepare work orders for the factory shop floor such as electrical enclosures, panels, conduit, etcDesign conduit and free routing systems in 2D & 3DGenerate and maintain bill of materialsPrepare work instructions and standard work documentsProvide factory shop floor supportAuthors new BOM generation tools and update the existing onesWork with production teams to transfer verified designs into full production.**The engineer must have the following skills**:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or any other relatedDeep understanding and experience with electrical systems/components such as industrial control panels, panel boards, transformers, circuit breakers, transfer switches, power supplies, UPS, contactors, VFDs, SPD, etc.3 years of experience designing industrial control panelExperience using Autocad, Solidworks, or Autodesk InventorVFD programmingStrong knowledge of UL1995, UL508a and NECAbility to read, analyze, and interpret plans, specifications, control drawings, service bulletins, equipment specifications, etc.
