Our rapid growth, reputation and strong position in the energy market offer dynamic career opportunities for individuals seeking an exciting work environment in America's fastest growing sector.What You Will DoBe an active participant in the development of the power systems team, including the development of procedures, templates and workflows for reports.Develop and review generic and user-defined models using PSSE/PSCAD software for use during initial and final submissions of models for generating Facilities under construction, such as utility scale solar, energy storage, or Facilities which include both technologies and associated substations, gen-tie and switchyards.Develop and review system-level plant models for steady-state and transient analysis for electrical studies, including load flow, short circuit, protective device coordination, arc flash, grounding systems analysis, transient over-voltage, total harmonic distortion, lightning risk assessment, transfer limits and other AC system studies.Coordinate with Lead Design Engineers on system studies and how it may impact the current design of the Facility between the equipment selection, MV collection system(s), and substation and switchyard design and equipment ratings.Perform testing and model validation for clients as a subject matter expert.Ability to lead conversations on tasks to technical and non-technical employees and customers.Seek knowledge and input from others to help innovate procedures and processes to perform model development, power plant testing, and model validation reporting.Work closely with our SCADA partners to develop an automated package to remotely test the requirements for NERC MOD testing including higher resolution data acquisition and default testing modes within the power plant controller.Create intellectual property to differentiate DEPCOM as a leader in services and support being a one-source solution for our customers.Identify and test new technologies and tools to achieve optimal productivity of personnel.Support internal groups within DEPCOM with subject matter expertise.Manage workload to prioritize competing demands while meeting deadlines and expectations.Manage a database of equipment models furnished by DEPCOM's vendors and preferred partners, for use on multiple projects.Who You Are (Basic Qualifications):Bachelor or higher degree in electrical or related engineering with professional registration (Cedula Profesional - SEP) in Mexico.At least five years of relevant professional experience in power system analysis in transient and steady analysis
