**Job Description Summary**: As an Advanced Control Systems & Accessories Engineering Intern you will contribute to the development and documentation of electrical system technologies for the next generation of aviation products. One of your main activities will be to support RISE ground and flight demonstrators through Electrical component analysis, design, and suppliers' management. You will coordinate with different stake holders (internal and external) to ensure correct execution and on time delivery.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Work within the guidelines of applicable GE Policies and Procedures, Engineering Standards for Electrical Systems items
- Execute, with some guidance, Electrical Engineering activities supporting component and sensors analysis, design based in requirements
- Collaborate with the Advanced Technologies team and ensure on time delivery on project deliverables
- Follow up on established plans for task execution to meet project milestones
- Close collaboration with engineering organizations (local and global) towards a clear vision and short/long term priorities alignment
- Maintain resource flexibility to adapt to a dynamic environment
- Document technical data generated to substantiate the assigned components, and systems consistent with engineering policies and procedures
- Report-out to leadership team in a timely manner to identify roadblocks, necessities, and/or needed resources
- Participate as a presenter in technical forums. Demonstrating solid preparation, effective communication and open for feedback.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Student of bachelor's or master's Degree in Science, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
- Capability to perform tests with electrical hardware
- Excellent presentation skills
- Able to maintain a normal day-to-day fluid conversation in English
- Capability to present his/her work status to leadership
