TE Connectivity's Technical Engineering Support Teams analyze, test and assist in research for the development of products and processes. Team members may specialize in quality control or assurance, chemical manufacturing processes, metals, electrical connectors and components, process development, materials, and/or instrumentation. They may also handle calibration, displays, network control, mold development and audiovisual work or environmental health and safety. The Technical Engineering Support Teams are responsible for the completion of assigned engineering projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines. They plan, prioritize, and manage multiple engineering projects; prioritize tasks and assign team members to ensure that the team's overall resources are used effectively and that project deadlines are met. They evaluate and authorize changes that significantly impact the scope, budget, or timeline of a project. At times, they may work directly with customers to understand needs, gather customer requirements, identify resources and assess project risks. They create, develop, plan, write and edit operational, instructional, maintenance or test procedures for paper, multimedia or web-based publication, for non-technical and technical users.**What your background should look like**:**Responsibilities**- Work will be primarily carried out in a production electrical testers, keeping the integrity of the hardware, software and calibration.- Follow up the calibration and maintenance procedures through the scheduled time assigned.- Participate with the engineering team to implement and deploy new electrical test process for New projects.- Individual will work with MV test equipment for measurement and confirmation of Partial Discharge, AC/DC HiPot and voltage reference.- Prepare and install MV cable accessories for testing according to IEEE 404 standard.- Plans work in accordance to Electrical and Occupational Safety and electromagnetic interference to surrounding environment and all applicable safety rules and practices.- Plan and perform electrical qualification tests on medium voltage cables and cable accessories according to industry standards.- Plan and manage multiple test programs, collect and manage test data, write test reports**Basic Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineer.- +5 year experience in Medium and High Voltage Installations in a Manufacturing environment.- Understand electric circuits, proficient with oscilloscopes and data acquisition equipment.- Microsoft Office proficient.- English**Desirables**:Familiarity with MV insulators and surge arresters (Highly desirable)Preferred Experience operating and troubleshooting MV/HV test equipment (Transformers, PD detector, ohm meter, volt meter, amp meter, etc.)**Competencies**:- Values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Innovation
