Electrical Test Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for the design and/or implementation of boxes and test procedures, as well as equipment and electronic devices verifying their correct operation, being responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of the "Hot Muck Up" type test stations.

RESPONSIBILITIES Diagnose repetitive failures or key failures and find their root cause. Communicate the causes found to the affected areas by generating analysis reports. Participate in monitoring problems to solve the root cause. Improve the test boxes as necessary to enhance error detection and coverage generated in the manufacturing process, assembly, transport, etc. Ensure the equipment is within calibration. Report poor equipment conditions. Help analyze dashboards in the P.C.B. test area with features that make them difficult for technicians to analyze. Support technicians in reproducing test conditions reported by Irvine, also called failure features. Update and design new test programs as well as change revisions. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Minimum 2 years of experience. English proficiency at 90%. MS Office knowledge.
