**Job Purpose**
The Electrician is part of a small team of electricians who work to the Mechanical and Electrical Facilities Management Operations Manager and the Electrical Mechanical Supervisor.
To carry out electrician duties delivering planned maintenance, reactive repairs, minor new works, support to projects and other tasks as directed by Line Management.
**Responsibilities**
Undertaking of planned/response maintenance and new works on various plant and systems which include works on the following systems:
- LV distribution
- Hazardous areas such as fuel installations
- Commercial and domestic equipment
- Fire Alarm Systems
- Airfield Ground Lighting Systems (Desirable)
Ensure work undertaken is to a high standard of workmanship which produces a quality end product first time with no re-work required.
Organise work to minimise lost time or non-productive time.
Routine Operative/electrical husbandry and duties such as accurately record details of activities on dockets and time sheets.
**Knowledge Skills & Experience**
- C&G 2391-52 Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations (Level 3).
- C&G 2382-18 Requirements for Electrical Installations (18th Edition Regs - Level 3)
- C&G 2365 Level 2 & Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations
- C&G 2377-22 Testing of Electrical Appliances - PAT (+ the management qualification - Level 3)
- Holder of MoD Authorised Person Certificate(s) in Electrical Systems including High Voltage Systems - Ring & Radial & Low Voltage Systems - Ring & Radial, UPS, Generators and Standby Systems.

- CompEX EX01 - EX04 (Desirable)
- Full driving licence.
- Good standard of IT Literacy.
- Experienced in working in a military environment (Desirable).

Mitie will pay a salary, monthly **site allowance and a bonus at the13**th **and 27**th **month**.
Hours of work are 47.5 per week.
The contract duration is **27 months unaccompanied with 74 days leave **excluding weekends.
Air/sea transport for agreed holiday periods will be at Company's expense.
Free accommodation, meals at mess and work clothing will be provided.
