**Job Purpose**:
The position responsibilities include a strong focus on quality through simulation, analysis, verification, and validation testing at the component level, subsystem, and system level. Advanced troubleshooting and analysis skills are needed to resolve complex development and field issues and to improve overall performance and cost.
The Electronic Components/Platforms Engineer is expected to have good communication for technical status updates, component reviews, and when working closely with other internal and external teams in multiple geographic locations and organizations. Keeping up with industry trends and new technology breakthroughs is essential and requires continuous learning through self/internet study.
**Background/Experience**:
Requires a bachelor's degree in an accredited Engineering curriculum (Electrical, Computer, or Electromechanical)
2-3 years of experience in embedded electronic hardware development.
Fluent English is required.
Incumbents must have demonstrated excellent analytical skills and the ability to perform complex assignments. Requires strong technical leadership skills. Must have strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills and the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
