BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for "dynamic, results driven" individual to join Electronics Program Manager at our SLP PDS Plant in Mexico.

In this role, and under direct supervision of the Program Manager Sr, the Electronics Program Manager leads a cross-functional Program Team within plant operations, as well as the PDS organization, to achieve defined business objectives and customer requirements, in accordance with the PDS Development Process. Is responsible for the performance and success of the program team, without having any direct relationship of organizational subordination. Provides program management for customers and internal programs, focusing on (1) assertive oversight of product launches, (2) containment, prevention, and cost reduction throughout a product's lifecycle, (3) a comprehensive communication effort.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Responsible for the implementation of the programme:
- Works at all levels of the organization to build a case for the program and gain commitment from department heads, allowing for the allocation of necessary resources.-
- Drives accountability and action within the program team.-
- Develops programs from inception to SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) and beyond. Leadership-
- Coordinates and exercises functional authority for planning, organizing, budgeting, integrating and finalizing prototypes within the company.-
- Creates and follows standard reports to management, extracting information from functional areas. Responsible for APQP and PDS Development processes.-
- Leads cross-functional team following the APQP process to meet cost, time and delivery objectives in an IATF16949 environment.-
- Coordinates runs and approval in plant with customer (Try-out, PSO, PDR ´s PPAP, Run & Rate, etc.)-
- Ensures internal and external documentation requirements are met.-
- Creates and manages program schedules to meet critical deliverables as well as program metrics. Understands and applies financial concepts-
- Achieves the financial results in which the program was approved.-
- Manages the financial results of programs and tracks forecast against actual expenses. Risk management-
- Direct activities to identify program risks and encourage the team to close identified gaps. Manage the customer relationship-
- Engages with client teams to help develop and lead programs aimed at meeting customer demands.-
- Develops customer relationships that make the product launch an experience that contributes to delivering new business in the future- QUALIFICATIONS- Education: Bachelor of Engineering-
- Time of experience in similar position: Minimum of 3 years of experience with program management or client team management At least 8 years of experience in automotive product development and launch at a Tier 1 level.-
