What will you do? Assist in new product introduction and product line transfers between facilitiesDesign electrical and computer test fixtures using relay logic, PLC's and/or computer controlsDesign and build testing simulators and other devicesTrain, evaluate, and assist direct labor Testers and Test Technicians.Troubleshoot electrical test fixtures for both repair and production areas.Develop, document, and maintain work instructions and test procedures.Resolve Engineering Investigations into root cause failures.Assist with test equipment selection, capital justification and procurementSupport local Lean, Six Sigma and 5S projects and assist with Kaizen/TPM/Value StreamResponsible for ensuring proper and sufficient test equipment is available.Responsible for overseeing/maintaining other computer controlled and/or automated equipment as assigned.Position includes hands-on testing and troubleshooting with shop test personnel and Test Technicians.Oversee the calibration of instruments/testers.Gather product requirements (e.g. functionalities, speed, safety standards) Qualifications What qualifications will make you successful? Bachelor's degree in electrical or electronic engineering.Significant and substantial experience with test engineering.Knowledge and proficient in all Microsoft applicationsLabVIEW, Visual Basic, C++, Python and PLC programming languages a plusSkill in configuring and troubleshooting TCPIP networksAbility to analyze schematic circuit designs to understand underlying design theory.Ability to troubleshooting techniques for test/repair at component level#J-18808-Ljbffr
