**Job Description**:
As an Embedded Hardware Engineer at EDDY Pump Corporation, you will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of embedded hardware systems. You will also create detailed electrical schematics for our advanced dredging and pumping equipment. This role requires a deep understanding of both hardware engineering and electrical design principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and update detailed electrical schematics using industry-standard software.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, mechanical, and systems engineers, to ensure seamless integration of hardware solutions.
Develop and execute test plans to ensure the reliability and performance of hardware components.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and electrical issues during the development and testing phases.
Maintain thorough documentation of designs, test procedures, and project progress.
Stay informed about the latest advancements in embedded hardware and electrical design technologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in embedded hardware design and development.
Proficiency in creating and interpreting electrical schematics using tools such as Altium, Eagle, or similar.
Strong understanding of microcontrollers, microprocessors, and digital/analog circuit design.
Experience with embedded system design and development.
Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C, CAN).
Familiarity with CAD tools for schematic capture and PCB layout.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with industrial equipment and machinery.
Knowledge of power electronics and motor control systems.
Understanding of EMC/EMI design practices and mitigation techniques.
Experience with FPGA or ASIC design.
Familiarity with programming languages such as C/C++ for embedded systems.
Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per month
