.Aptiv focuses on addressing the future needs of the auto industry through improved safety, electrification, and new mobility solutions.We are now uniquely positioned as the leading global technology company serving both the traditional automotive and new mobility markets.We are excited to announce that Aptiv is expanding its footprint in Monterrey within Advanced Safety and User Experience Engineering.As part of this expansion, we will be establishing a new facility in Mexico equipped with state-of-the-art technology and infrastructure.This expansion is part of our ongoing commitment to providing world-class products and services to our customers, and we are excited about the opportunities it presents.With our strong presence in the region and our talented team, we are well-positioned to deliver innovative solutions that improve the safety and reliability of vehicles.Your RoleAt Aptiv, we are dedicated to developing innovative solutions that make transportation safer, greener, and more connected.The Software Architect is responsible for the software design and for the delivery of all technical aspects of software architecture into the product design.You will work with major customers and a talented global Aptiv team to deliver automotive ECU's leveraging technologies such as embedded microprocessors, Ethernet, and CAN (Controller Area Network) protocols, along with GPS, ultrasonic, cameras and Radar technology.Your day to day will consist of the following:Lead the software architecture planning, design, and implementation.Develop and implement architecture and verification plan.Analyze and determine critical system resource budgets across the system.Drive and conduct design and code reviews.Advise project and program management in planning.Provide technical leadership and oversight of the SCRUM teams.Allocate software functionality to components.Review customer requirements and component interface specifications.Establish technical interfaces with key customer stakeholders and document customer requirements.Drive decisions regarding the software/hardware architecture.Support new program and change request estimations and quotation.Your BackgroundBachelor's degree in engineering discipline.8+ years of work experience in Automotive Industry or Consumer Electronics.Bilingual proficient in English speaking/reading/writing.Experience with embedded system architecture.Experience with Operating Systems/RTOS (Linux, QNX/OSEK) applicable for automotive systems.Working knowledge of AUTOSAR.Experience with communication protocols.Why join us?You can grow at Aptiv.
