- Design new and existing embedded software controls for Planting Equipment.
- Promote a culture of Continuous Improvement, providing continued structured feedback that examines team performance.
- This person will support planning and perform tasks to meet quality, delivery and cost goals with mínimal supervision.
- This position requires a degree of technical judgment, experience and unique approaches to solutions and some ability to mentor other engineers on complex technical issues when needed.
- Well conversant with requirements capture, analysis, design, programming, debugging, hardware integration and verification.
- In this position you will attend to Agile Ceremonies such as Sprint planning, stand ups, retrospectives, etc.
**What Skills You Need**:
- Good understanding on Embedded Software Technology and Strong Software Development Skills to support other software developers.
- Strong drive by results.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
- Strong communication skills for conflict resolution, meetings, reporting, etc.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in
- Embedded Software development.
- Firmware (Embedded Software) development.
- MBSD and C or C++ programming language.
- Development for microcontrollers (such as ARMs or DSPs or PSoCs)
Good Understanding on
- Communication protocols and networks mainly CAN.
- Operation and use of compilers, linkers and locators.
- Microcontroller operation and memory organization.
Experience with
- Development and debugging tools (e.g. source level debuggers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multi-meters, etc.)
- Microcontroller peripherals and systems (e.g. PWM outputs, boot loaders, A/D converters, watchdog timers, interrupt and trap functions, serial and parallel interfaces, etc.)
- Agile Methodology
**What Makes You Stand Out**:

Should be able to use traditional as well as state of art tools for development such as

- Model In Loop (MIL) tools
Systems will include:
- Analog / digital electronics
- Software operating systems
- Advanced control theory / methods,

**Education**:
- B.S. Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Digital Systems, and Robotics Engineering or similar.
