Embedded Software Engineer I

As an Embedded Software Engineer I at Plexus, you will be part of a team developing embedded software for products across a wide range of industries and at all phases of product development.
You will also collaborate closely with other disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, user-centered design, and others.Key Job Accountabilities:Develops engineering/product concepts that are high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy the customer's requirements.Successfully executes responsibilities in adherence to Plexus' engineering process.Demonstrates a clear, discipline-specific understanding of the full value stream (Conceptualize, Design, Commercialize, Manufacture, Fulfill, Sustain) as it applies to their role.Utilizes appropriate tools and equipment to perform necessary design work including design creation, design analysis, and design verification.Produces comprehensive project documentation based on the needs of the project and in accordance with the quality and change management procedures and guidelines.Technical QualificationsHands on experience working with Embedded software / ARM Microcontrollers (Sensors & Actuators)Working experience with C++ & STLUnderstanding of Object Oriented Design & Object Oriented Programming (OOD/OOP)Familiar with common OO Design Patterns and principlesEducation/Experience Qualifications:A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.One (1) or more years of related experience is required.An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.This document does not represent a contract of employment and is not intended to capture every possible assignment the incumbent could be asked to perform.#J-18808-Ljbffr
