Our Santa Anita location near Guadalajara is looking for a highly self-motivated and detail oriented Embedded Software Engineer to join our team.Are you ready to shape tomorrow with us and be part of the software platform development team developing state of the art basic software platform for electrified powertrain systems?Core Responsibilities:- Contributor to the design and implementation of security software for powertrain systems- Real-time embedded software development to support next generation powertrain systems based on 32-bit Infineon/Renesas microcontroller architecture, software integration, testing and debugging support- Perform code reviews, analyze software requirements, and test protocol- Ability to work with cross functional teams. Collaborate with Electrical team, Systems team, and customer for smooth execution of the project- Support updating project release plan, resource plan regularly- Follow company's processes/methods to ensure the quality of the project- Work with Quality team to perform release reviews- Drive common platform approaches including software, processes, and tools- Support exploration of new concepts and platforms- Self-motivated, dedicated, focused, and be able to meet tight schedules- Be able to perform multiple tasks and work independently on new or complex assignments**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer engineering, electronics, mechatronics or related degrees).- 2-3 years of experience in embedded system software development experience.- Working experience in software product development cycle methodologies.- Software development using embedded C- Solid understanding of microcontrollers.- Understanding of multicore concepts is a plus.- Solid software and hardware debugging skills.- Experience with microcontroller debugging tools.- Knowledge of communication protocols like SPI, Can, Lin, etc.- Experience in understanding the hardware datasheets of microcontrollers and ASICs.- Familiarity with assembly language desirable.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Experience within Automotive Industry is highly desirable.- Knowledge of AUTOSAR highly desirable.- Experience with configuration management tools such as MKS, IMS or similar highly desirable.- Knowledge of bootloader software highly desirable.- Knowledge of Vector Tools highly desirable.- Working knowledge of Security software development
