As SW test engineer at Bosch you will have the opportunity to validate SW for Advanced Diver Assistance Systems (ADAS), main responsibilities and tasks include:
- Understanding of system and software requirements for driver assistance products.
- Direct contact with SW project teams to identify and clarify SW system requirements.
- Create test specifications based on SW and system requirements.
- Development and review of test scripts for requirements-based testing.
- Test cases implementation in an automated Hardware-in the-Loop test environment.
- Setup of test tools and readiness check of test infrastructure
- Tests execution and documentation based on release planning, and in accordance with the configuration management plan.
- Creation of tests results logs and defect reports.
- Re-testing of found defects, or replicate customer defects, for analysis and root cause identification.
- Periodic communication, reviews, reporting and collaboration with global project teams.
**Qualifications** Technical Qualifications**:
- 2 to 4 years of experience in a role as a Software Test Engineer.
- Bachelor's degree on Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Science or similar.
- Solid experience in implementation, automation and execution of test specifications/scripts.
- Knowledge on automotive bus interfaces and communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, XCP).
- Working knowledge of Vector CANoe, vTestStudio, CANalyzer, CANDiva.
- Knowledge of Configuration Management and Requirements Analysis tools (RQM, Doors, Jira).
- Knowledge of Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS).
- Basic understanding of HiL and SiL Test systems.
- Solid coding and automation skill using standard programing/scripting languages (CAPL, Phyton, C/C++).
- Basic ASPICE understanding.
**Preferred qualifications**:
- Background in Software development or testing in automotive industry.
- Knowledge on ADAS systems (RADAR, Video, Parking, Driving, USS, Central ECU for ADAS / Vehicle Computers).
- Knowledge of the project life cycle following the V Model.
- ISTQB Foundation certification.
- Experience working in agile SW teams.
