- Receive, prioritize and lead the response to emergency situations calmly and quickly.
- Participate in post mortem meetings derived from drills and emergencies.
- Review of firefighting equipment including portable fire extinguishers, spill kit, eye wash stations, first aid kit, emergency telephones, personal protective equipment for firefighters, fire hose cabinets, based on the inspection program.
- Make inventories of emergency response materials according to the needs of the company.
- Participate in gemba walks for the review and evaluation of Safety conditions in Machinery and Equipment focused on preventing emergencies.
- Provide training to members of the Emergency Brigade, as well as various personnel as part of emergency prevention programs, based on the training schedule.
- Evaluation of safety conditions for the authorization of high-risk works (work at height, confined spaces, hot work).
- Participate with the groups of the Local Mutual Aid Committee.
- Carry out fire protection inspections in the different areas of the company and prepare reports of the findings detected for their correction.
- Support in department projects as required by the company, always advised by the company's EHS Engineer.
- Actively participate as members of the company's working groups as required by their position and skills.
- Enforce Quality and EHS BRP policies.
