Emotor/Edm Design Release Engineer & Launch Support

**Basic Qulifications**:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or a closely related engineering degree from an ABET accredited university.
A minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in the automotive field, preferably product development/powertrain
Self-starter with strong leadership, communication skills, and demonstrated problem solving ability.
Understanding of engineering theory and principles of design.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to understand and support resolution of launch issues in a plant environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Advanced degree in engineering from an ABET accredited University.
4+ years of related engineering experience.
2+ years of design release experience.
Understanding of Electric Motor or EDM operation, design, manufacturing, testing & development
Experience with Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
Knowledge of drawing GD&T and dimensional tolerance stack-ups.
Experience with Statement of Requirements, DFMEA, and Design Reviews.
Working knowledge of problem resolution and tracking systems and engineering change management processes.
Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) Certification.
