With over 20 years of experience providing the best logistics solutions, Charger logistics has transformed into a world-class transport provider and continue to grow.As an Employee Relations Associate, you will perform a wide array of Employee Relations administrative tasks and coordinate activities related to total rewards, labor and organizational development.
The role is critical in executing our HR initiatives, providing exceptional internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.
**Roles & Responsibilities**-**:- Provide timely advice and information to managers & executives to assist them in managing and resolving a high volume and wide range of complex employee issues and concerns.- Support offboarding duties including confirmation of resignation letters and exit interview surveys.- Rapidly produce high-quality written communications that concisely analyze problems and recommends solutions.- Build constructive relationships with critical stakeholders to share information and influence change- Respond to basic Employee Service ticket inquiries, or forward to appropriate SME.- Assist with planning and coordinating new employee orientation on a weekly basis; perform a number of preorientation and post orientation related tasks.- Monitor and follow up with employees and managers on training course completion.- Provide administrative support on organizational development related initiatives.- Coordinate and distribute employee identity materials (business cards, name badges and benefits cards, etc.
)- Draft employment verification letters for employees.- Ability to pull metrics and stats on a routine basis and gather trends from it.- Assist with the sending of leave management communication to employees.- Provide support with benefits administration for all leaves.- Provide assistance and support with company events including, but not limited, to, social events, employee engagement events and job fairs**Requirements**:- Human Resources Degree or relevant degree preferred.- Minimum of 2 years' experience within a Human Resources function of an organization that delivers a breadth of HR services to colleagues and managers, including employee relations.- Good working knowledge of Canada Labor Code and Ontario employment legislation.- Demonstrated ability/knowledge in workplace investigations and facilitating appropriate resolutions.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to organize and analyze data- Ability to establish strong relationships at all levels and across functions within the organization- Effective listener and persuasive communicator able to influence actions and outcomes.
