Our people are passionate and qualified; by joining BRP, you will evolve at the heart of an experienced team that will welcome you with open arms.-GENERAL DESCRIPTIONAs a strategic partner, the Employee Relations Coordniator leads the labor relations strategy and plan for the site.
It serves as a consultant to management on employee labor related issues and will act as champion to assure compliance to all Mexican labor regulations.
Assesses and anticipates labor needs communicating proactively with our HR department and business management and seeks to develop integrated solutions.Formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added service and maintains an effective level of business literacy, understanding the business, its production situation, its mid-range plans, its culture and people.
And mainly brings a strong knowledge on all labor regulatory nuances.EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE- Minimum of 5 years of experience as Employee Relations Specialist or another HR related field- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including employee and union relations, compensation practices, performance management, and employment laws.- Relevant industry experience a plus.- Knowledge in organizational development and training a plus- Bachelor's degreeSPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS- strong consulting skills in labor relations- strong strategic and planning skills- strong client management and business literacy skills.- strong conflict management skills.- strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.- strong verbal and written communication skills.
bilingual English Spanish- ability to understand issues and communicate effectively with clients.- be flexible and available to interact with employees at all levels.- be self-directed and motivated.- take initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations for implementation.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES- Take leadership on the labor relations plan.
Lead the initiatives and align with Mexico HRBP team to assure consistency amongst the sites
