About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Expert Leader to join our team at Micron Technology.Job DescriptionThis is a senior-level position that requires strong leadership and employee relations skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and directing ER strategies, influencing local leaders, and ensuring ER processes are consistently applied across the organization.The role also involves leading or overseeing workplace investigations in accordance with global investigation policies and procedures, responding to employee issues and grievances, and providing ER expertise and consultation to business partners and employees.In addition, the Employee Relations Expert Leader will partner with global business people partners (GBPPs) and global executive people partners (GEBPs), as well as centers of excellence (COEs) to provide guidance and recommendations to resolve team member issues and enhance people organization programs.The ideal candidate will have 8 years of work experience relevant to Employee Relations, preferably in the manufacturing or technology sector, with exposure to Mexico and US industries. Direct experience in labor relations, including knowledge of Mexican and US labor law and practices, is also required.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and direct ER strategies, influence local leaders, and ensure ER processes are consistently applied.Lead or oversee workplace investigations in accordance with global investigation policies and procedures.Respond to employee issues and grievances in line with our People Values.Provide ER expertise and consultation to business partners and employees.Partner with GBPPs, GEBPs, and COEs to provide guidance and recommendations to resolve team member issues and enhance people organization programs.Requirements8 years of work experience relevant to Employee Relations, preferably in the manufacturing or technology sector, with exposure to Mexico and US industries.Demonstrated expertise in labor relations, including knowledge of Mexican and US labor law and practices.Critical thinking skills, keen sense of urgency, independent decision making, exacting standards of compliance, and passion about doing the right thing for the company and its people.CompensationThe estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000, depending on qualifications and experience.About MicronMicron is an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions, transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
