Scope of the Position:In this role, the employee will be responsible for the coordination and oversight of labor relations strategy and support for Corning's manufacturing locations in Latin America with a specific focus on Mexico. The employee will work closely with business and HR leaders in the LA region to fashion labor relations strategies and solutions in support of Corning's manufacturing effectiveness and positive employee relations objectives.**Responsibilities**:- Builds and maintain close relationships with local and regional HR and business leaders on matter of employees and labor relations in the LA region.- Studies, prepares for, and advises Corning leadership on all levels on LA regional employee:And labor relations matters pertaining to union contract negotiation, contract legitimization (Mexico), and federal and state labor legislations and its impact on Corning's operations and employee relations- Represents management:And collaborateswith local HR and business leaders:In collective bargaining with unions representing company employees in Corning's Mexican facilities in Reynosa and Monterrey.- Represents Corning in dealings with governmental agencies, labor lawyers and other external parties and stakeholders re employee and labor relations.- Participates in informational programs and preparation of employee handbooks and manuals to effect cooperation and coordination in union:Employee management relations.Education and Importante empresa:- 10:15 years Importante empresa; Bachelor's degree in related field, focus on Human Importante empresa or Industrial/Labor relations preferred. Master's degree and HR certification, a plus.**Required Skills**:- MS Office (Excel.
