Silver City, Mexico | Posted on 04/18/2023 Industry: Nonprofit Charitable OrganizationsJob DescriptionAbout RoleThis role requires understanding emerging trends in the job market, job roles/skills that are in demand across various regions and domains, forging partnerships with top employers in identified domains, and leveraging these partnerships to counsel, train, place, and provide post-placement support to aspiring students, thus contributing to the overall outcomes of Wadhwani Skilling Network (WSN).Key ResponsibilitiesStudy the job market across regions and chart out a strategic roadmap to meet the WGO goals through the Employer channel.Establish strategic partnerships with top 5 employers in sectors identified by the Foundation (Retail, Healthcare, Manufacturing, IT, Auto, Beauty and Wellness, Hospitality, Education) and with respective sector skill councils (SHCP, SE, COPARMEX, CANACINTRA, CONCAMIN, Local Commerce Chambers, amongst others).Responsible for the formation of the Industry Advisory Council in each of the identified sectors and leverage their knowledge to upgrade WSN offerings.Leverage these partnerships to curate, aggregate, upgrade, digitize, and validate the content of various modules.Train and place students.Identify and launch pilot programs with each partner to validate the model.RequirementsSkills & ExperienceWell networked in the country with knowledge of all key employers and connections in specified domains (Retail, Healthcare, Manufacturing, IT, Auto, Beauty and Wellness, Hospitality, Education).2 to 4 years of experience in business development, with at least 5 to 7 years in the staffing/employer sector.Strong communication skills and high EQ.Strategic/Innovative thinker.Experience in starting and growing accounts.Awareness of the latest trends in the job market.Problem solver with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves can-do attitude.Updated with the latest methodologies and research within the EdTech and training domain.Open to travel across Mexico and work closely on the ground with different teams.#J-18808-Ljbffr
