**What you will be doing**:
- Helping design, manufacture, test, and support hardware and software related to End of Line (EOL) functional testing
- Current product support of Engine Control Modules (ECM) and Sensors remanufacture machines
- Work with cross-functional teams to set up plans and update statuses.
- Calibration Test
- Makes decisions in the areas of software architecture, requirements, design, and test that impact product and feature design.
- Delivers independent execution of established and emerging work processes and systems, while still developing technology or product knowledge.
- Participates in the development and improvement of work processes and systems across a functional discipline area within a business unit site.
- Provides support and guidance to internal customers when needed
**What you'll need to be successful**:
**Essential**:
- Minimum of a BA in computer science, BASEET, BAEE or equivalent.
- Object-oriented programming (.NET)
- NI LabVIEW development experience (including FPGA, XNET and some Object Oriented use cases)
- NI TestStand development experience (including Process Models, Custom step types, API, Report Generation and writing test scripts)
- NI VeriStand development experience (including System Definition, GUI and Custom Devices)
- National Instruments PXI, SLSC, PCI/PCIe, cRIO, and/or cDAQ experience
- Self-motivated, take initiative on problem solving,
- Exhibit good time management
- Engage in proper quality control on deliverables.
- Work independently on most assigned projects.
- Basic electronics and electronic test equipment like multimeters, waveform generators, oscilloscopes, power supplies, ect.
- Basic wiring skills including soldering, crimping, and harness assembly is required in order to be able to guide a technician to build and fix test systems
- Understand PCB circuitry and know how to read a wiring schematic.
- Interfacing with external tools/systems (ASAM-XCP/CCP, XML, A2L)
- Knowledge of various protocols (J1939, J1708, LIN, SENT)
- Version control software using IBM Clearcase, PTC Integrity or similar
- Experience with requirements gathering, analysis and tracking (including use of PTC Integrity/Windchill, IBM Doors or similar)
- Test strategy development (test sequencing/data collection)
- MS office suit solid knowledge is required.

- Good communicator - written and verbal

- NI Veristand is desired
