Create product drawings and support documentation by using 2D drafting software and geometric tolerance- Participate in basic failure analysis and problem solving tactics by performing functional and reliability bench testing- Assure product quality by completing tolerance analysis studies for parts and assemblies- Enter bill of materials into SAP by releasing Engineering Change Notices in Windchill- Protect CGI's reputation by keeping information confidential- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed- Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.Minimum Qualifications**Education/Certifications**:Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering strongly preferred; or minimum of (4) yearsof job-related experience as defined above in the Essential Functions section**Other**:Flexibility to travel up to 10% of time; international travel requiredPreferred Qualifications**Education/Certifications**:Intern or co-op experience in mechanical engineering**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:- Analytical skills to support design creation of electro-mechanical systems by completing calculations involving strengths of materials, statics, stress-strain equations, and dynamics.- Ability to work within cross-functional teams to create electro-mechanical products- Working knowledge of MS Office- Strong analytical skills- Effective communication skills- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
