.As an Engineering and Continuous Improvement Superintendent, I manage the launch activities for the introduction of new products (NPI) to the company efficiently within the established time period; I also analyze and validate the budget, production costs, labor allocation, and the design and implementation of manufacturing systems that allow achieving the quality standards established by the corporate and provide the work team with the necessary guidelines to successfully launch the new project.**PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES**- Coordinate the activities of the Engineering Department to ensure the successful launch of new projects in the company in a timely manner and generate profit for the company.- Monitor the activities of the launch of a new program with the work team to ensure that tasks are completed according to the schedule of activities and avoid shipping costs.- Effectively lead and coordinate the engineering changes directed by the client and/or internally to avoid obsolete items and affect the plant's performance.- Coordinate with the engineering team the validation tests required by the clients and effectively manage the activities with the productive areas of the plant, as well as the development of robust manufacturing systems always seeking productivity.- Contribute ideas for improvement in the multidisciplinary problem-solving teams regarding design issues.- Establish links for engineering, product, and process changes through the ECRs.- Interface with the requirements of our end client. Follow up on assigned tasks and provide essential information for the launch of the new program and engineering changes.**RESPONSIBILITY**:- Determine the manufacturing processes for the launch of a new product.Launch a new program adhering to the specific requirements of each client.- Ensure the correct documentation and follow-up of the schedule of activities for the launch of a new program.- Design a new process adhering to the specific requirements of each client.- Implement the appropriate tools for the manufacture of the product, robust manufacturing systems, manufacturing processes, and implementation of specifications required by the client.- Make decisions together with the quality manager related to the business from the engineering/quality point of view.- Follow-up of external or internal activities related to the process.- Manufacturing process, implementation, improvements, start-up, and follow-up of tasks assigned to the plant.- Follow-up of action plans with the client and allocation of resources necessary to carry them out.**REQUIREMENTS**:Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (master's degree is a plus).Minimum of 6 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineer or Coordinator, preferably in the automotive industry.Project Management (MS Project).Core Tools.Lean ManufacturingISO & IATF 16949 StandardHandling of some ERP such as MAPICS, SAP, QAD
