Play a critical role in the initial design stages of the product.
Our Quality Team interacts with the products and features to help validate design.
This person will manage customer initial requirements and audit New Product Development projects with early collaboration with design and manufacturing partners.
**Responsibilities**
- Facilitates and provides expertise in the development of Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA), Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (PFMEA), Design Validation Plan & Report (DVP&R), Control Plans, Qualification Plans, etc., in the new product development and product changes.
- Analyze and identify the effects and mitigate future failures; provide a written documentation of the work performed.
- Perform statistical analysis for the qualification, control, and continuous improvement of processes, products and equipment for electromechanical components.
- Completes customer required documentation relating to customer acceptance of New Products and Product Changes.
- Reviews and approves supplier documentation on new and revised purchased components.
- Provides technical support, documentation and guidance on new products to New Product Introduction Assembly Department, inspection lab and manufacturing plants.
- Guide Development team in finding root cause and developing corrective action for New Product QNs and supports efforts for systemic improvements of Advanced Quality Planning Processes to reduce New Products QNs.

- Support in processes such as electronic assembly, testing, molding, stamping, ideally for cable, high speed cables or drivers.
- Advance experience in Quality Planning Tools like Failure Mode and Effect Analysis and Design Validation Plan & Report, performing statistical analysis, solid knowledge of metrology and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), working with Quality Systems.
- Strong leadership and team facilitation skills, having the ability to identify continuous improvement issues and processes and analysis failure identification and work with different projects at the same time.
- Basic knowledge of Define, Measure Analyze, Improve and Control methodology (DMAIC), knowledge in ISO 9001 or TS 16949, ideally Green Belt certification.
- Solid knowledge and usage of Office, Minitab.
