**Role Summary**:
The OE Engineer is responsible for the preparation of detail drawings, assembly drawings, bills of materials, part code management based on API 682, API 614, ASME Section XIII Division 1, customer and Flowserve specifications; as well as performing calculations, material selection and providing technical support to internal and external customers, as well as providing on-site support to clarify technical and/or equipment performance questions.
**Responsibilities**:
- Preparation of assembly and part drawings, with their respective bills of materials (BOM). And if applicable P&IDs
- Updating of drawings, designs and bill of materials (BOM).
- Elaboration of reverse engineering.
- Technical assistance to our customers through seminars, presentations and field visits.
- Technical support to internal areas of planning, purchasing, logistics, manufacturing, quality and sales.
- Generation and maintenance of existing databases in the OE department.
- Deliver all documentation according to customer requirements.
- Document all activities performed in a field service through the field service report and deliver it to OE Supervision and/or Engineering Management upon completion of the service.
- Assist in sizing of equipment either at customer's facilities or in the field in order to open more market and offer better sealing solutions.
- Read and understand all requirements, standards, work instructions, contracts, purchase orders and methodologies that the customer has within their work facilities.
- Report and inform in a timely manner to the OE Supervisor and/or Engineering Management any situation that puts the project at risk both monetarily and functionally and that may consequently bring any warranty or legal issues to Flowserve. - Demonstrates the ability and willingness to work as part of a team.
- When the Engineer is assigned as "CHECKER" he/she will be responsible for the review of drawings, bill of materials, assembly and detail drawings.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- Experience in mechanical design, Automation, Instrumentation and Control, Project Management, Materials, Fluids.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety standards, engineering drawings, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
- Knowledge of Instrumentation.
- Knowledge of Fluid Mechanics.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- Ability to understand and interpret drawings.
- Proficient in design software: AutoCAD 2D and 3D / Inventor.
- Advanced English
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Industrial, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Mechatronics, or relevant field and 1-2 years of relevant experience.
**Preferred skills**:
- Knowledge in Mechanical Design and Project Management.
- Knowledge of API Standard 682
- Knowledge of API 614 Standards
- Knowledge of current PEMEX regulations (NRF, STPS, NOM, etc.).
