Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Engineer I, NPI-D. What you'll do: This position will execute technical, they will provide applications engineering for product line support - this includes, but is not limited to product development, engineering designs, providing direction to designers.
A. Plan to Maintain Production Schedule, delegate and prioritize engineering tasks to meet Profit Plan and OTP.
B. Translate incoming order information into bills-of-material and CAD drawings, including control schematics and wiring diagrams, understandable by engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain.
C. Provide guidance to manufacturing during new product introduction, assist and testers on technical issues.
D. Lead team meetings, delegate and maintain accountability of engineering group to complete tasks
E. Drive engineering continuous improvement actions to increase productivity and quality
F. Analyze field problems that may require research into product and application history.
G. Coordinate with other Eaton plants on eng strategy, forecast, and best practices.
H. Execute plan tasks and follow up on specific engineering activities to achieve eng goals
I. Maintain effective communication channels with eng personnel.
J. Recommend and implement changes in ENG procedures and methods that increase level and quality of the product.
K. Increase Organization Capability by coaching and counseling Juarez engineering when applicable.

B. Assemblies (FDP, BUSPLUG, etc) products and manufacturing process knowledge.
C. Steel shop process knowledge.
B. Solid sales, and negotiation skills.
C. Knowledge of Eaton systems including Vista, Bid manager, AS400, Enovia, Mapics.
D. Working knowledge of Microsoft office including Excel, Power Point and Word.
E. Superior communication and presentation skills.
F. Requires working knowledge of distribution products.
G. Excellent organization skills.
H. Prior manager of people experience is preferred.
