General Purpose
Overall responsibility for evaluating existing processes and configuring manufacturing systems to cost reduction, maintain the continuous improvement of productivity, sustainability and develop best practices within the production process.
Functions
- Define Capacity in hours for each process and Capabilities to know the scope of each process
- Define all variables for each critical process
- Estimate process time to use as standard hours on capacity models
- Define tools for operation on each process
- Understand our corporates Standard Work using Workmanship and EN
- Identify Opportunities to grow up as a plant and leader Capital projects from the start point to the implementation of projects
- Analyze Cost reduction opportunities to reduce the cost on products or expenses in plant
- Be the leader to improve each manufacturing process
- Be the leader to launch new products in plant
- Leads and actively participate in the STOP system
- Leads and participate in quality and Continuous improvement initiatives / programs: DPS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, HPT, etc.
- Implement corrective Actions in each process according with Internal NCR's
- Participating in Solving Customer complaints to avoid recurrence
- Analyzing each step of the process to detect failure modes and Quality Controls
- Participating in Process Audits to keep rules in place and improve the quality
Position Profile
- Studies: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other related discipline is required.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environments, Manufacturing or Process Engineer.
- Languages: English Advanced
