Trabaja en uno de nuestros cinco avanzados edificios, que incluyen siempre una enfermería, cafetería, transporte, y estaciones de trabajo ergonómicos.About the RoleThe Engineer II is responsible for development products, tools, fixtures, equipment, and industrial processes. This position works closely with product engineering, product management, and new product development teams to ensure products are adequately and accurately designed for manufacturing team.Watlow is a global organization with several sites in the United States and international. Watlow's primary CAD systems are Solidworks, Solidworks Electrical and various CAM programs, Solidworks PDM, and Aras Innovator PLM.Your Key Responsibilities- Develop, execute, and evaluate project plans, identify gaps, and work with internal and external customers to develop their capability to meet expectations.- Improvements in product and process design.- Build prototypes.- Interpret testing requirements and prepare testing procedures.- Perform tests and experiments and prepare test reports.- Understand and follow all organization and department safety policies and procedures.- Read and interpret customer specifications and drawings for complex products and implement into business processes, products, and processes.- Partner with other functional team members to ensure products and services are delivered to customers defect free.- Provide coaching and feedback to less experienced engineers and technicians.- Other responsibilities as required.Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS, MIS or related degree.- 5 - 8 years of experience in design or design automation.- Ability to speak and write fluently in English is required for this position.- Experience with Solidworks- Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) or.Net framework- General knowledge about electric and thermodynamics**Desired Qualifications**:Experience working with suppliers to drive corrective actions.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and toolsProject Management experienceExperience developing Product Control Plans and developing complex testing and inspection methods.Work Well within Team Environment and can lead project teams formally or informally.Excellent Written and Verbal Communication SkillsProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Able to be work under immediate supervision of a more experienced employees or manager and directly or indirectly lead less experienced employees
