.This role is within CGI's Nogales Quality and Compliance group.
A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Maintain and update the Quality Procedures as required by our documented Quality System, and (ii) Plan and implement corrective action programs to minimize losses and improve yields; determine improvements goals based on historical performance of KPIs.
Requires 5+ years of experience in manufacturing processes or Quality Engineering, Experience with Products/processes transfers, Experience in Quality Control techniques and applied statistics and a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electronics), Green Belt certification.- Maintain and update the Quality Procedures as required by our documented Quality System- Plan and implement corrective action programs to minimize losses and improve yields; determine improvements goals based on historical performance of KPIs- Implement a Quality Audit plan to monitor conformance to Quality Procedures and Inspection/Test Instructions- Identify process, methods and design issues which impact negatively on Quality, Costs and yields; participate at Sustaining Engineering regular reviews and/or early involvement reviews with cross-functional teams to continuously improve product quality- Conduct studies and audits of manufacturing processes and products; develop and implement Process Controls for critical assembly operations- Coordinate Quality Planning on new product introduction; drive component qualityplanning with internal operations; participate in cross-functional teams to continuously improve product quality; oversee implementation of APQP practices within New Product Development teams; ensure execution of APQP methods and assigned deliverables, Product Assurance Planning, CTQs, and Control Plans; participate with other team on the generation of FMEA- Utilize techniques, systems and methods that promote prevention as a solution to quality/reliability issues
