Engineer, Packaging Engineering
**Location/s**:
Hermosillo MEX - Parque Industrial Hermosillo Norte
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement packaging designs and solutions that improve production efficiency while reducing costs
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, waste reduction, and cost savings in the packaging operations
- Conduct packaging material testing and evaluation to ensure compliance with company and industry standards
- Work closely with production teams to troubleshoot packaging issues and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source and evaluate packaging materials and equipment
- Develop and maintain packaging specifications and standards
- Provide technical support to other departments on packaging-related matters
- Develop and maintain packaging-related documentation and training materials
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, innovations, and emerging technologies in the packaging industry
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in packaging engineering or a related field, with a focus on productivity improvement
- Strong understanding of packaging materials, design principles, and production processes
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Experience with packaging machinery and equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing technologies and business requirements
