.**Job Title**:Engineer, Packaging Engineering**Location/s**:Hermosillo MEX - Parque Industrial Hermosillo Norte**Responsibilities**:- Develop and implement packaging designs and solutions that improve production efficiency while reducing costs- Identify opportunities for process improvement, waste reduction, and cost savings in the packaging operations- Conduct packaging material testing and evaluation to ensure compliance with company and industry standards- Work closely with production teams to troubleshoot packaging issues and implement corrective actions- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source and evaluate packaging materials and equipment- Develop and maintain packaging specifications and standards- Provide technical support to other departments on packaging-related matters- Develop and maintain packaging-related documentation and training materials- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, innovations, and emerging technologies in the packaging industry**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field- Minimum of 5 years of experience in packaging engineering or a related field, with a focus on productivity improvement- Strong understanding of packaging materials, design principles, and production processes- Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements- Experience with packaging machinery and equipment- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing technologies and business requirements**We Don't Just Build The World, We Build Innovative Technology Too.**Joining the Stanley Black & Decker team means working in an innovative, tech-driven and highly collaborative team environment supported by over 58,000 professionals in 60 countries across the globe.
