Act as a Validation Engineer, being technically responsible for the validations of electrical and electronic components (battery, alternator, starter motor, converter, inverter, IBS, etc...). The professional will be responsible for managing (development and documentation) the test plan for the components, carrying out these activities in the laboratory simulators and also in a vehicle. You will be responsible for supporting troubleshooting activities at the manufacturing plant and implementing improvements in the production process.
Constant search for knowledge of new technologies, changes, innovations. Interaction with other development teams, to ensure, through testing and validation, the requirements of each component. Support in diagnosing problems in the production process (support for the manufacturing plant).
Constant contact with the design team of the components to be validated and with the quality team, in order to ensure the quality and conformity of the components, during the testing phase and later, when the product is already on line. Interaction with other colleagues in the area, who reside in different regions (NA, EMEA, IAP...)
**Requirements**:
Engineering: Electrical / Electronic / Automation / Mechanical
- Required: Knowledge of Electro-Electronic components of the Powertrain vehicle propulsion system (alternator / battery / starter motor / electronic control unit / sensors)
- Equipment for measuring and acquiring electrical signals (multimeter, oscilloscope and others...);
- Understanding of programming language (optional);
- Interface software with electronic control unit (CANalyzer - Vector, etc.);
- Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, technical documentation, standards and test reports.
- Necessary: Execution of tests in static and dynamic simulators, and also in a vehicle, to validate the components in the interface with other vehicle systems.
