The product line alone serves as proof with advances in machine performance, equipment automation, fleet management, and John Deere's ongoing investment in emerging markets.**Main Responsibilities**:- Lead product engineering activities for engines (requirement understanding, concept definition & development, virtual and physical validation, prototype fabrication and implementation in production line).- Provide design solutions to achieve goals related to performance, quality, manufacturability, standardization, and cost.- Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting to PVV, manufacturing, quality, production, and supply management teams to ensure product requirements are met.- Ensure that supplier components and solutions met engineering requirements.- Resolve product, factory or warranty issues.- Manage workflow activities to release parts in system.- Support and coach less experienced engineers within team.**What Skills You Need**:- Experience in product engineering project implementation and complex problem resolution - Minimum 4 years of demonstrated experience.- Strong mechanical engineering knowledge- Proficient use of virtual tools for proof of concept (CREO modeling, CREO simulate, CREO mechanism, etc.)- Proficient understanding of virtual tool interpretation (FEA, CFD)- Proficient use of engineering & design tools (FMEA, GD&T, 8Ds, Root cause analysis, etc.)- Experience working with a global supply base on product development.- Fluent on English.**What Makes You Stand Out**:- Knowledge of diesel engines.- Knowledge of internal combustion engines.- Experience in component integration.- Experience in component validation (lab or field).- Proficient Design for Manufacturing Processes knowledge
