**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
Responsible to update incoming inspection plans according Q2 (Quality Complain) issued, Quality Imperative (PPAP's, flow down and PTC's) Track and control the audits to ensure the incoming inspection plans meet requirement. Validate the listed on the incoming inspection plan and determine adequate equipment to perform the inspection.
**Essential Functions**:
Create the incoming inspection plan for new part number
Update the incoming inspection plans according the PPAP approvals, Q2 & QI.
Update frequency of incoming inspection plans
Support on the incoming inspection of samples when equipment of the lab is required (CMM, profilometer, etc)
Develop CMM programs for automatic and semiautomatic inspections
Support with the correct interpretation of the measurement reports.
Audit the correct usage of the measurement equipment's (including calibration)
Perform CPK studies
Support SQA performing measurements when required
Train the inspectors about the correct usage of measurement equipment.
Ensure the Customer requirements are meet.
Know and teach about the Product safety.
Perform the essential activities required to Support the operation and plant initiatives
The employee has the authority to stop the production line, when he/she notices that the product has a quality problem or defect.
Support PSA Activities and procedures with team members
Perform all those activities that by the nature of the position are required.

**Knowledge**:
- Incoming inspection Plan

- Basic statistics knowledge (CPK/SPC) - GD&T Knowledge
**Experience**:
Experience in automotive industry (At least 3 years)
Blueprint Reading (GD&T)
Coordenate measuring machine programming
CMM reports interpretation
Control plan
SPC
know how to use measuring instruments Profilometer, caliper, micrometer, hand gages

**Education/Certifications**:
- Bachelor's degree or pursuing an Engineering degree
- Metrology, and measurement technique
- Basic Statistical Process Control
- CMM programing (Calypso as a Plus)
