**JOB SUMMARY**
The Reliability Engineer is responsible to develop and implement reliability strategies throughout the asset/system lifecycle. The role focuses on ensuring design reliability, managing verification processes, and implementing reliability improvement initiatives in accordance with Engineering and Project Management systems.
**How You Can Be the Impact**
- Develop and maintain reliability engineering standards and frameworks for asset/system design
- Conduct reliability analyses and assessments during design phases
- Lead design verification processes to ensure compliance with reliability requirements
- Implement lifecycle cost analysis and equipment strategies
- Manage and optimize equipment reliability management programs
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability targets are met
- Document and analyze reliability data to drive continuous improvement
- Facilitate learning and knowledge transfer of reliability best practices
- Develop and maintain reliability monitoring systems
- Lead root cause analysis investigations for complex technical issues
**What Matters to SABIC**
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in reliability engineering or related field
- Strong understanding of reliability engineering principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in reliability analysis tools and software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong project management capabilities
- Experience with Engineering and Project Management systems and processes
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Experience with lifecycle cost analysis and equipment strategy development
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in reliability engineering
