This is a place where you can make a world of difference.Follow Us on LinkedIn:CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) and Process Engineer will have the responsibility of evaluating, configuring and updating the processes that are currently available in the assigned areas; constantly working on continuous improvement to promote the productivity and sustainability of our processes in order to develop the best practices aligned with international quality standards.Functions CWI - Engineer Senior- Knowledge of welding and cutting procedures as well as the terminology used and their definitions.- Preparation of quality reports of the welding applied to the product using CWI inspection stamp that guarantees the quality of the released product.- Knowledge of welding processes as well as the chemical and mechanical properties of welding materials.- Know the most important of the regulations related to welding processes as well as their interpretation.- Development of PQR, WPS and ensure accomplishment.- Management of qua register of welders and WPS.- Decision making for welding problems with standards support.- Interpretation of drawings and symbology in welding of new products.- They perform welding mapping when required by customers, indicate the WPS used in each product.- Knowledge of new processes and inspection process in welding as required by the client.- Ensure that the worker complies with the safety standards of welders.- Identify and monitor welding repairs when required.- Implement Cost Reduction for improvements in welding processes.- Communication between production and design or engineering when there is a welding problem.- Checking materials according to standards for the manufacture of products when a change is required.- Proposals for changes in welding symbology for DCI, based on welding codes, for a productive or quality improvement.- Checking of projects with external CWI inspectors by the client.- Training of personnel in welding.- Checking of procedures according to AWS codes.- Understand the requirements of the client, according to contract or according to DCI quality and make them comply during the process.- Supervision of non-destructive tests: Visual, penetrating liquids and / or magnetic particles.- Inspect welds.- Responsibility to the final user for the quality of the products that were welded
