-Position Summary--:
As a member of the Global Supplier organization, the Supplier Engineer (SQE) will be a key contributor into the global supplier / performance management program at Thersher.
The SQE is responsibr ongoing maintenance of the supplier program, overseeing the assessmenction and day to day supplier management.
This position collaborates closely with other departments to identify, investigate and resolve product non-conformances while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
The role holder is part of the Global Supplier Team and as such supports the global supplier program as the need arises.----Key Responsibilities--:
Work as part of the Global Supplier team to support tnction including auditing, supplier performance and systems & processes.
Maintain supplier approval status through review and approval of new requests and change requests as per applicable standard or requirements.
Lead and run the execution of objectivr the control of rnal suppliers, in alignment with goals of the company and objectives.
Ensure alignment between suppliers and related requirements and specifications.
Develop, implement, and maintain appropriate metrics to assess supplier performance.
Provide timely and accurate communication to team on supplier performance metrics.
Lead meetings related to supplier performance monitoring, issue resolution, strategy definitir specific suppliers.
Support processr new material qualification, end of life materials/components, product development, supplier requesr material changes and sustaining engineering.
Drive problem solving and root cause analysis activities with suppliers and internal customers to eliminate recurrence of non-conformances Generate and maintain responsibilir Supplier Agreements that align with Thersher expectatior the manufacture to ensure compliance with current standards, guidance documents, and regulatior the sale of product as applicable.
Collaborate with other departments effectively to define actions and prioritir supplier related issues.
Support the Material Review Board meetings and other critical decision-making meetings as required to define Suppliers' responsibilities and effectiveness.
Align with Purchasing to report supplier performance while monitoring ratings and uncooperative suppliers.
Develop relationships with critical suppliers tosupport the business.
Work with relevant business Unit leaders cilitate integration of new suppliers.
Harmonize vendor relatnctions within wider Global Supplier processes to ensure alignment and encompassing the need of businenctions/procurement.
Review and assess supplier notification of change and communicate accordingly.
Ensure issues such as delays in audits, agreements, etc.
are prioritized appropriately and resolved effectively.----Minimum --Requirements/Qualifications--:

A good understanding of math concepts is necessary, which includes decimals, square roots, and percentage yield and temperature conversion.
Must be proficient in all aspects of Supplier Management procedures.----Other Qualifications--:
auditing certification (ASQ, IRCA, IQA, or RABS) preferred Well-versed in the development and execution of management systems Project planning and working knowledge of Excel, Word, Access, and management software Excellent interpersonal skills:
