**BASIC FUNCTION**
This analyst position is responsible for the creation, maintenance, development, and support of structured global product data management including document management, knowledge management and engineering change management.
- The core responsibilities of this position will include: analyzing performance of PDM policies, gathering information to make decisions and execute entry procedures, data collection with attention to data accuracy, process design, process mapping, testing, and training of policies. The analyst will design programs and processes to increase business effectiveness, with a global perspective. The analyst will serve as the liaison between the user community and the IT community by defining user needs and communicating improvements and processes throughout the PDM communities in Plumbing Americas, Asia, Europe and Interiors.

**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**
Functional Skills:
1. Understand PDM policies and SAP tools to gather information and complete daily production requests.
2. Understand SAP tables to extract and build data sets to support product data accuracy.
3. Utilize current programs/processes to increase business effectiveness.
4. Build, test, and implement programs/process improvements with all user groups.
5. Monitor policies/procedures for PDM and PLM processes.
6. Create, maintain, and execute process documents for global reference and use. This includes writing, proofing, testing, and storing procedures for the user communities.
7. Participate in educational programs and professional societies involving analysis and leadership skills.
8. Effective communication with all user groups, including, but not limited to manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, accounting, purchasing, marketing, sales and IT.
9. Conduct training programs involving company personnel relating to product data management and specific projects.
10. Perform other related duties as assigned.
11. Creative thinking to identify new solutions and processes for continuous improvement.

- 1. Reports to Manager-Engineering Data Services
- Organization Relationships:
- Work with all user groups; including Manufacturing, Logistics, Accounting, Purchasing, Supply Chain and Sales
- Contact with management personnel in multiple business groups (including International associations)
- Contact with Global Procurement and IT, Program Management and MM/PP SAP Team

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Information Technology preferred. Will accept equivalent practical experience or a combination of education and experience that equates to a 4-year Bachelor's degree.
A minimum of 2-4 years experience working in product data management, product life cycle management, materials management or production planning environment.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Winshuttle, SAP and Visual Basic is a strong plus.
