This position will be responsible of lead the engineering team by managing capital projects from the design to delivery to internal customers.**The successful incumbent will have the following Key Accountabilities**:- To manage the planning and implementation of the capital estimates requested to the Engineering Department in order to determine the investment requirements of future projects.- To coordinate the preparation of equipment listings, program of activities, budgets, and scope to prepare the capital expenditure plan.- To manage authorized capital projects to submit them in time commitment and described scope.- To identify solutions and equipment to comply with environmental regulations for each of the investment projects- To assure that projects comply with safety and environmental regulations to reduce occupational hazards and facility risks.- To promote the importance of complying with safety and environmental regulations among the personnel to create a culture about it.- To coordinate the evaluation and selection of the necessary equipment and service suppliers for the development of the project.- To provide technical training to the operations and engineering areas' personnel so they can be able to use resources and technology available in the plant.- To direct and evaluate process inspections to provide solutions that may improve quality and reduce costs in the plants
