What you will do: - Create the company's Engineering and Maintenance programs management strategies and objectives.
- Supervises activities and projects of Manufacturing & NPI Engineers, and Maintenance technicians.
- Proposes and Manages projects to improve processes efficiency.
- Responsible for determining processes conditions of manufacturing lines.
- Registers and follows up on continuous improvement projects from other departments.
- Responsible for setting up effective process flow that include sequence of operations, WIP and layouts for all manufacturing areas.
- Results reporting of Engineering and maintenance projects focus on customer experience improvement & cost reductions - New product and projects analysis.
- Maximize the overall effectiveness of production equipment, through TPM methodology.
- Responsible for the compliance in Corrective, Preventive & Predictive maintenance activities.
- Addresses the entire production system lifecycle and builds a solid, plant-floor based system to prevent accidents, defects, and breakdowns.
- Focus on preventing breakdowns (predictive & preventive maintenance), "poka-yoke" equipment to eliminate product defects and to make maintenance easier (corrective maintenance), designing and installing equipment that needs little or no maintenance (maintenance prevention), and quickly repairing equipment after breakdowns occur (breakdown maintenance).
- Develop strategies, policies, procedures, and overall best practices to optimize value of the entire function in creating a world class Engineering and Maintenance Management team.
- Develop and continuously improve processes mitigating risk and creating contingency plans.
- To support product launches & ramp ups.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets accordingly.
- Establishes annual goals and objectives, (including stretch targets) regarding Company's KPI's, - Implement, improves, evaluates and report on own KPI's.
- Key player partnering closely with leadership in Manufacturing Operations, Quality, and Materials management.
Experiência y requisitos
Overview of Role: Lead the continuous improvement process and standard work through the implementation of engineering and maintenance projects that generate a positive impact on the business.
This position will lead and direct all facets of Engineering and Equipment Maintenance Management including, but not limited to development and implementation of Continuous improvement strategies and standards across the entire facility based on Lean Manufacturing methodology & TPM to drive business performance in Safety, Cost, Delivery, Quality, and People Development, and maximize the overall effectiveness of production equipment, with a direct impact on improving the customer experience.
Experience & Skills - College degree or equivalent experience - 3+ years in Engineering & Maintenance Management experience - Strong knowledge in Lean / Six sigma - Certifications is a plus.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office / Project Management software - Previous manufacturing industry experience with strong working knowledge of Project Management.
- Strong leadership, motivational, and team building skills required.
- Ability to quickly analyze and solve complex problems required.
- Moderate to expert skills in lean manufacturing/manufacturing techniques helpful What we need from you: o If you have considerable expertise, you may help the businesses in implementing Engineering and Maintenance strategies and world class best practices.
