JOB SUMMARYThrough subordinate staff, manages and directs the design, planning, construction, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, and facilities to ensure sufficient maintenance upkeep, security, and safety.
Develops and implements preventative maintenance programs for the facility.
Ensures that all safety guidelines and standards are met.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPlans, budgets, and schedules facilities modifications including cost estimates, bid sheets layouts, and contracts for construction and acquisitions.Oversees the coordination of building space allocation, layout, and communication services.Develops procedures and plans for directing maintenance personnel engaged in facilities upgrades, relocations, furniture, and equipment moves.Reviews and approves all contracts for work relative to facilities expansion and/or maintenance and upkeep including all custodial, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.Develops plans and procedures to provide the organization with optimum service relative to the maintenance/repair of facilities, machinery, or equipment.Accountable for ensuring that the facility is in compliance with all building codes, state and federal laws, and other regulatory requirements such as ADA.Participates in the design and development of safety standards and programs.Participates in safety audits as necessary.Reports to management as required and necessary.May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.JOB QUALIFICATIONSKNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTSSolid knowledge of OSHA and other regulatory safety laws.Proficiency in the use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), and e-mail skills.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree required.Five (5) years previous maintenance experience working in an automated manufacturing environment.Previous experience managing cost and schedules for facility upgrades and expansions.Or a combination of education, experience, and/or training.#J-18808-Ljbffr
