Our people are passionate and qualified; by joining BRP, you will evolve at the heart of an experienced team that will welcome you with open arms.-GENERAL SUMMARYLeads the team and activities at the paint plant, to achieve strategically operational goals, promotes organizational values to have the proper work environment.EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION- Bachelor's degree: Chemical or Industrial- 5 years of experience as paint engineer or similar positionKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS- Bilingual (80% English & Spanish), both oral and written.- Lean Manufacturing: Material Flow, KanBan, 7 Wastes, FMEA, DFM, SMED, Problem Solving, 5S- 3D Modeling Software (Catia a plus)- Six Sigma methodologies- Use of advance knowledge in E-coat paint process- Use of advance knowledge in Top-Coat paint process- Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electrics knowledge.- GD&T knowledge- SAPMAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop the skills and competencies of the Paint Manufacturing Team.- Coordinate Paint Manufacturing Team Activities.- Evaluate progression (PMP - PDP) of Paint Manufacturing Team.- Strong 360 relationship and synergy.- Lead the introduction of new platforms and/or model years changes.- Influence R&D decisions towards DFM.- Continuously seek more opportunities (growth) with NPD Project Leader.- Budget and forecast preparation for Capital and Expenses.- Assure safety and quality compliances.- Understand our supply chain to optimize our internal process flow and improve the SQFT usage.- Optimize the Minute Vehicles in Paint.- Seize opportunities of innovation for Paint manufacturing processes.- Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.- Participate in compliance with the QMS (Quality Management System) determined for their role in relation to the standard ISO9001: 2015.- Comply with safety rules according to the function.- Comply in time planned trainings related to Quality and Training.- Identify and report any quality and compliance issues and support corrective actions.**Statement**:The above information is intended to describe the level and nature of the work to be performed by a person assigned to this classification, it may or may not represent the total of the activities.
