Make it your story.This position reports toGlobal Engineering ManagerYour role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will be responsible for setting up and driving a Customer Centric Engineering Delivery Platform (EDP) in Mexico, serving Business Lines (LBL) and Global Solution Centers mainly in Americas, and sometimes in Europe / Asia as internal customers. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to fill the role of Head of Engineering Delivery Platform MX. This position requires strong leadership skills to guide and manage local team and drive operational results of all activities. Directly accountable for leading the EDP Mexico to a level of performance identifiable with World Class organizations, utilizing visual management, lean and continuous improvement techniques. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position. This role is contributing to the Robotics Business Area in Mexico. You will be mainly accountable for: Ensure Health, Safety, and Integrity as a license to operate with adequate processes and drive Sustainability across all dimensions of EDP MX.Responsible for the overall general management, profit & loss of the local EDP unit. Set and deliver on targets to serve differentiated customer requirements across our internal customers. Key focus on Customer Quality Experience, Delivery Agility, Cost competitiveness.Drive productivity increase to continuously reduce cost associated with direct and indirect labor, materials and waste and promotes implementation of continuous improvement projects on-site to boost operational efficiency, drive continuous improvement culture.Lead a team for various functions (Planning, SCM, Production, Quality, Order handling & Logistics).Put internal customers in the center (EDP do not face external end-customers) and Manage interfaces with BLs, R&D, Finance, IS/IT, Customer Service, Product management, use a pull model to proactively get new projects from internal customers. Manage internal customers as key accounts.Define performance through the eyes of external customers through a seamless collaboration with the BLs/GSCs and served countries and as such build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders/internal customers.As a key member of the Global EDP Management Team, contributes to the EDP Strategy and its execution for a world-class end-to-end order execution process in tight collaboration with peers from other factories and global functional managers.Ensure adequate hands-on performance monitoring and reporting to steer performance
