**Engineering Director****Mandatory: Experience in Medical Devices.**Manufacturing company located in Chihuahua, is searching for an **Engineering Director**. The incumbent is responsible to managing overall engineering areas of operations, define the strategic plan, and executing and tracks internal KPIs. Provide direction and leadership to engineering staff and be the liaison between local engineering, corporate and functional departments.Leads, Identifies, and directs the execution of improvement efforts to achieving and exceeding business performance goals in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC).- Oversee the daily activities of the Plant technical staff: Engineering, product transfers, new product introduction, laboratory technicians and metrology.- Engineering Projects; Forward planning, laborestimates, NA Capex & Process Excellence: Responsible for the Tactical plan, quotes for new products, Capital and Expense Control.- New technology and equipment research and establishment of equipment requirements, prepare cost justifications and appropriate capital authorization request.- Manage the activities related to the basic documentation for the operation of the Process are fulfilled, as applicable; Flow Diagrams, Process Instructions, PFMEA, routings, lay out, study of times, elaboration of the standard work.- Provide support to engineering leaders, engineers and other members of the organization in technical and administrative knowledge.- Manage the activities to guarantee the optimum availability of the plant's equipment and facilities and services to facilitate the functioning and operation of the company, following the applicable safety standards.- Promotes Lean manufacturing techniques to continuously improve cycle times and process flows. Reduce waste in all manufacturing and business processes.**EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**:- Education: Engineer degree, MBA a plus- Green Belt 6 Sigma, Black Belt is a plus- Bilingual 95%: English - Spanish- Minimum 7 years of proven experience in a management position in Manufacturing industry.- Experience in Medical Device Manufacturing.- Strong experience in Lean Tools: VSM, 5'S, Std. work, Continuous Flow, Kaizen events..- Experience in CAPEX administration- Strong analytical problem-solving techniques: (8 steps, 8D's, DMAIC)- Project Management skills- Leadership, Strong coaching and organizational skills, Ability to organize and lead.Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSalario: A partir de $1.00 al mesHorario:- Turno matutinoLugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
