This includes equipment upgrades, workflow adjustments, and automation.Cost Reduction: Discover cost-saving possibilities within the manufacturing process by optimizing resource utilization and minimizing waste.Training and Development: Provide training and development for assembly team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to assemble lighting products effectively.Data Analysis: Examine production data and metrics to make informed decisions and implement data-driven improvements.Offer technical guidance and mentorship to engineering staff.Supervise the design, development, and testing of new products and systems.Manage engineering budgets and allocate resources efficiently.Identify and implement process enhancements to improve productivity and operational efficiency.Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.Take responsibility for fostering both foundational and transformational competencies within the Lean Organization and across the manufacturing plant. These competencies include, but are not limited to, Value Stream Mapping, Visual Management, Work Standardization, Gemba Engagement, Kanban, SMED, 5S, and Pull Systems.With these essential competencies, this role will collaborate with Operations and the Lean Manufacturing Supervisor to enhance plant performance in Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Team Engagement, and Innovation.
