This includes partnering closely with a large cross-functional global product development team, such as Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Compliance, to successfully execute Engineering programs. In addition to leading teams and programs, this role will act as the Site Leader for the Engineering Center in Monterrey.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Champion and lead the technical execution of all Engineering vehicle programs in Mexico through the Product Development Process (PDP), ensuring all customer requirements are met (Quality, Performance & Cost), driving efficiency, and delivering new features and technology.Partner with Product Planning, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Compliance, Finance, and Global Engineering teams to review and support long-range product plans, yearly budgets, and overall technical execution plans for all Off-Road Products.Ensure Safety and Quality Standards are achieved and executed across the product portfolio.Continually advance the engineering team, optimizing the structure and bringing in new capabilities to drive future growth plans.Lead the engineering team in Mexico – drive employee development, engagement, and capability building for the site.Manage multimillion-dollar R&D budget, driving productivity and efficiency.Benchmark Off-Road industry and parallel similar industries to drive learnings across the organization.Own product quality requirements and improvement plans for Off-Road products.Identify and implement tools and processes to improve Vehicle development.Ensure alignment across the global organization including functional teams and the business.Manage the day-to-day building needs along with annual capital planning and long-term plans for the Engineering building.SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Operations discipline.MBA or Master's degree in an Engineering field.15+ years of leadership in Engineering Manufacturing industries, preferably with previous leadership in automotive companies.10+ years of direct leadership experience preferred, or an experienced and proven leader who has demonstrated the ability to build effective departmental and cross-functional teams.Highly collaborative and thrives in a global matrixed environment.Proficient in English – spoken and written
