Engineering Leadership Program, Electrical
Carrier is looking for software, electrical, mechanical, systems, and other engineering majors with demonstrated leadership ability and strong academic performance to join our competitive Carrier Engineering Leadership Program (ELP). The ELP offers new graduates an opportunity to deliver impactful contributions to strategic projects through three eight-month rotations across various Carrier business units.
ELP rotation locations will reside within Santa Catarina but ELPs may rotate to different buildings to different leaders during their first 2 years.
Candidates selected for the program will receive front-line, hands-on, meaningful assignments designed to stretch their capabilities and accelerate their professional development. In addition to the hands-on experience, the program includes high-caliber training, mentorship, and guidance from our diverse team of Carrier executives and program alumni to build a strong and lasting global network of colleagues.

As part of this transformation, we are hiring and empowering a recently graduated electrical engineer to help us innovate and pursue sustainable solutions for our customers.
Associates will apply scientific principles to innovate, design, integrate, and implement technologies, components, sub-systems, and systems to ensure compliance to specifications, requirements, Agency requirements and customer.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, design, integrate and test electrical components within equipment requirements.
Support Hardware Requirement Specification (HRS).
Develop product documentation and literature, including electrical and physical data tables.
Support product integration to specifications while using cost effective and efficient means.
Support test cases automation.
Analyse and evaluate new or improved components.
Support Electrical Schematic development.
Troubleshoots electrical devices problems to ensure that issues are resolved efficiently.
Resolves day-to-day technical problems on the Eng Laboratory to minimize disruption.
Completes drawing designs as required to facilitate the engineering process.
Control panel layout, wire harness creation, and component selection.
Assist mechanical designers in the creation of enclosure and assembly drawings.
Manage electronic Engineering Change Notice (ECN) generation and implementation through the Windchill product data management system.
Support of sustaining products including quality improvements, cost reductions, component obsolescence, and failure analysis.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
Average of Academic grade point must be greater than or equal to 90 and above.
Must be geographically mobile and have the ability to relocate for rotations.
To be eligible for the program, you must be an August or December 2025 graduate of the degree in the relevant field and start in the Leadership Program at Summer 2025.
BA/BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Relevant internships or co-op experiences referred.
Preferred Qualifications
Technical skills:
Familiarity with electromechanical devices (motors, breakers, relays, etc.) and electromechanical enclosures and wire harness.
Ability to read, understand, and troubleshoot electrical schematics.
Familiarity with standard office productivity tools (Microsoft Office, etc.).
Familiarity in using AutoCAD or a similar 2D drawing program for schematic and wire harness design is preferred.
Familiarity with equipment for such as Multimeter, power supplies AC/DC and electrical generators, transformers (Variac).
Soft skills:

Ability to communicate professionally in written and verbal format across a wide audience.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong adaptability capacity.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while managing multiple priorities.

Knowledge of refrigeration products (preferred but not required).
Ability to solve challenging and complex customer requests.
