Purpose Statement: As the site management representative for engineering, this position directs, reviews, communicates and drives improvements to processes and procedures and coordinate activities of the Engineering Department in supporting the manufacturing, testing and process controls of products built as well as facilities within the site.Key Job Accountabilities:- Develop and drive major improvement programs in the areas of quality, output, yield, and cost reduction.- Coordinate implementation of Engineering metrics and standardization per SOP, WIs, and SFTs.- Manage the site capability roadmap.- Technology Capabilites (Clean Energy, Industry 4.0, Automation)- Failure Analysis Capabilities/ DF(x)/Problem Solving- Capacity Models (SMT, PTH, HLA, Facilities)- Identifying and evaluating potential Talent, driving succession planning and ensuring that their employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.- Drive process and test performance improvement throughout the facility.- Manages and coordinates capital asset forecasts and approved equipment including upgrade and replacement plans for production equipment and facilities systems and long range facility planning.- Develop, track, and report on budgets, department metrics, and department objectives.Education/Experience Qualifications:- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is preferred; a Master's degree is preferred.- Five (5) years of related experience as Engineering Manager, preferred Manufacturing Industry- Proven leadership skills and management experience.- Fluent EnglishAn equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.Work Environment:- The work setting should consist of an office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a low noise level.- The work setting should consist of a manufacturing environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a moderate noise level.- This document does not represent a contract of employment and is not intended to capture every possible assignment the incumbent could be asked to perform._
